Over the past eight years, I've written and produced eight children's books.
Children's Books
I’m a storyteller, and I love writing for children and families. I’ve written rhyming picture books for Steven Brown Art, Early Years Scotland, Kilmarnock FC and Hearts – all in collaboration with illustrator Maurice Hynds.
Most recently, I've collaborated with a talented young illustrator, Callum Penman, to create 'The Boy in the Bubble'.

Copy and Content Writing

In 2020, ishga’s online business grew exponentially, and they needed an updated brand story and a new e-commerce website. I created much of the copy still visible on their current site, including product descriptions and a successful fortnightly blog that drove people back to their website. All this SEO-rich content highlights a business journey that happy customers still visit time and again.

At Jammy Digital, one of the UK's leading video-first content marketing agencies, I've worked as a senior writer for one of the UK's most influential entrepreneurs. I've worked on everything from ghostwritten LinkedIn posts and Instagram carousels to optimised blog content, helping the Jammy team to capture an average of 10,000 leads per month across his business portfolio.
Visits & Events
Since 2019, I've been visiting schools across Scotland for author visits, storytelling sessions and rhyming workshops, bringing stories to life for children of all ages.
I've appeared twice at Wigtown Book Festival, hosted events at Waterstones, and love nothing more than connecting with young readers wherever books are celebrated.
